The webMOBI Zoom App works automatically during your meetings to track engagement and award badges. Here's what happens:

During Meeting

Step-by-Step Guide

Start or Join a Zoom Meeting

Begin by starting a new Zoom meeting or joining an existing one. The webMOBI app will be available in all your meetings.

Open the App

Click on "Apps" in the Zoom toolbar, then select "webMOBI Certificates & Badges"

💡 Tip: The app panel will open on the right side of your Zoom window

View the Dashboard

The app dashboard shows:

  • Participant List: All meeting attendees ranked by engagement
  • Engagement Scores: Real-time participation metrics
  • Badge Awards: Badges earned during the meeting

Award Badges (Optional)

You can manually award badges to participants during the meeting:

  1. Click on a participant's name
  2. Select a badge type from the dropdown
  3. Click "Award Badge"
  4. The participant receives a notification

After the meeting ends:

  • • Engagement data is automatically saved

Shows all meeting participants with their engagement scores, ranking, and badges earned.

💡 Best Practices

1. Announce the App

At the start of your meeting, let participants know you're using engagement tracking and badges to encourage participation.

2. Set Clear Criteria

Explain what actions earn engagement points (speaking, chat messages, reactions, etc.)

3. Award Badges Strategically

Use badges to recognize specific behaviors (great questions, helpful contributions, teamwork)
