💡 Badge Awarding Best Practices

1. Be Timely

Award badges immediately after the behavior occurs. This creates a stronger association and motivates continued engagement.

2. Be Specific

When awarding manually, include a note explaining exactly what the participant did to earn the badge. This reinforces desired behaviors.

3. Be Fair

Distribute badges across multiple participants. Avoid awarding all badges to the same person to maintain motivation across the group.

4. Set Expectations

At the start of your meeting, explain what badges are available and what behaviors earn them. This encourages desired participation patterns.

5. Celebrate Awards

Verbally acknowledge badge awards during the meeting. This public recognition increases the value of the badge and motivates others.

👥 What Participants See

When a participant earns a badge:

  • They receive an in-app notification with the badge details
  • The badge appears next to their name in the participant list
  • After the meeting, they can view and share their badges
  • Badges are added to their webMOBI profile automatically
