Customize your webMOBI experience through comprehensive settings for your account, organization branding, billing, notifications, and security preferences.

Account Settings

Manage your personal profile and account preferences

Available options:
  • Profile information: Name, email, profile picture
  • Password: Change your password or enable passwordless login
  • Language & timezone: Set your preferred language and timezone
  • Email preferences: Choose which emails you want to receive
  • Session management: View active sessions and logout from devices
  • Delete account: Permanently delete your account and data

Organization Settings

Configure organization-wide settings and branding

Available options:
  • Organization name: Update your organization's display name
  • Default branding: Upload logo, set colors, and choose fonts
  • Email sender name: Customize "From" name in certificate emails
  • Custom domain: Use your own domain for verification links (Enterprise)
  • Default timezone: Set organization-wide timezone for dates
  • Certificate numbering: Configure certificate ID format

Billing & Subscription

Manage your subscription plan and payment methods

Available options:
  • Current plan: View your active subscription tier
  • Upgrade/downgrade: Change your subscription plan
  • Payment method: Add or update credit card information
  • Billing history: Download invoices and view past payments
  • Usage metrics: Track certificates generated vs. plan limits
  • Cancel subscription: Downgrade to free plan or cancel

Notification Settings

Control how and when you receive notifications

Notification types:
  • Certificate generation: When bulk certificates finish generating
  • Email delivery: Delivery status and bounce notifications
  • Team activity: When team members create or send certificates
  • Zoom meetings: Engagement summaries and badge awards
  • Billing updates: Payment confirmations and renewal reminders
  • Product updates: New features and platform announcements

Security & Privacy

Enhance account security and manage privacy settings

  • Two-factor authentication: Enable 2FA for extra security
  • Login methods: Magic link, password, or SSO (Enterprise)

Email Settings

🔧 Common Configuration Tasks

Setting Up Organization Branding

  1. Go to Settings → Organization
  2. Upload your organization logo (PNG, 300 DPI recommended)
  3. Set primary and secondary brand colors
  4. Choose default fonts for certificates
  5. Save changes and test with a sample certificate

Customizing Certificate Emails

  1. Navigate to Settings → Email Settings
  2. Click "Create Email Template"
  3. Customize subject line and message body
  4. Use variables like {{recipient_name}} and {{certificate_name}}
  5. Send test email to yourself to preview
  6. Save template for future use

Enabling Two-Factor Authentication

  1. Go to Settings → Security
  2. Click "Enable 2FA"
  3. Scan QR code with authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
  4. Enter verification code to confirm
  5. Save backup codes in a secure location

Configuring Zoom App Integration

  1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations
  2. Find "Zoom App" and click "Configure"
  3. Authorize connection to your Zoom account
  4. Set default badge types for engagement levels
  5. Configure automatic badge awarding thresholds

👤 Account Management

Changing Your Email

Update your account email address

  1. Go to Settings → Account
  2. Click "Change Email"
  3. Enter new email address
  4. Verify via email sent to new address

Updating Password

Change your account password

  1. Navigate to Settings → Account
  2. Click "Change Password"
  3. Enter current password
  4. Set new password (min 8 characters)

Export Your Data

Download all your certificates and data

  1. Go to Settings → Privacy & Data
  2. Click "Request Data Export"
  3. Receive download link via email
  4. Download ZIP file (valid for 7 days)

Delete Account

Permanently delete your account

  1. Navigate to Settings → Account
  2. Scroll to "Danger Zone"
  3. Click "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm deletion (irreversible!)

💡 Settings Best Practices

1. Set Up Organization Branding Early

Configure your logo, colors, and fonts before creating templates. This ensures consistency across all certificates.

2. Enable Two-Factor Authentication

Protect your account with 2FA, especially if you have sensitive recipient data or payment information stored.

3. Test Email Templates

Always send test emails to yourself before sending to recipients. Check formatting, links, and attachments.

4. Review Notification Settings

Turn off unnecessary notifications to reduce email clutter, but keep critical alerts (billing, errors) enabled.

5. Regular Security Audits

Monthly review of active sessions, API keys, and team member access. Remove unused integrations and revoke old API keys.

6. Keep Payment Info Updated

Update credit card information before expiration to avoid service interruptions. Set billing reminders.

🔍 Common Settings Issues

Can't change email or update profile

Solution: If you're using SSO login, some settings are managed by your identity provider. Contact your admin or use account email for profile updates.

Emails going to spam folder

Solution: Add noreply@webmobi.com to your contacts. For custom domain (Enterprise), complete SPF/DKIM configuration.

API key not working

Solution: Regenerate API key if compromised. Ensure proper headers in requests. Check API documentation for authentication format.

Payment failed or subscription cancelled

Solution: Update payment method in Billing settings. Contact support if issue persists. Check for sufficient funds or expired card.
